nnexoro closes first angel round with Stefan Smalla and Dennis Vogt
The Munich startup brings in two individual investors with company-building and positioning experience. The amount raised for its Carl coordination product was not disclosed.
Two angels with different operating backgrounds
Stefan Smalla and Dennis Vogt have backed nnexoro’s first angel round, the founders confirmed. The investment was reported on August 26. Smalla founded Westwing and later led The Quality Group; Vogt brings experience in positioning and brand strategy.
The two invest as individuals. Their involvement gives founders Selim Ruppert and Julian Lorenz access to experience in building businesses and defining how a product reaches its customers. The announcement does not identify a lead investor.
A product built around daily coordination
Carl addresses the recurring work of keeping staff, assignments and customers aligned in labor-intensive businesses. The financing supports a company whose proposition depends on fitting that coordination into customers’ existing operations, with employees retaining decisions.
In his announcement, Vogt highlighted that fit with existing workflows as a reason for investing. It places the commercial emphasis on practical adoption inside a working business, alongside the founders’ product development plans.
