molmir wins JPY1m grant for Alzheimer’s drug research
The award backs work on therapies that target molecular dynamics.
molmir Inc. has won a JPY1 million encouragement award in The Senshu Ikeda Bank, Ltd.’s 22nd Innovation Research and Development Grant programme, announced on March 2.
The selected project develops Alzheimer’s disease therapies by targeting molecular motion. The bank lists Nara Medical University, AIST and Tokushima University as collaborating institutions.
molmir’s technology studies how molecules move and interact, building on research into phase separation in living cells. It uses that perspective to investigate drug targets that change shape and behaviour over time.
