molmir raises seed funding to advance drug-discovery technology
The financing supports its research team and work with Nara Medical University.
molmir Inc. has completed a seed equity financing from funds managed by Real Tech Holdings, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital and Senshu Ikeda Capital, announced on May 24, 2024. The amount was not disclosed.
The company studies molecular movement to develop drug-discovery tools for neurological diseases including ALS. It combines analytical chemistry with nuclear magnetic resonance.
The proceeds will strengthen management and research capacity, support a joint molecular-dynamics drug-discovery programme at Nara Medical University, and advance the technology for use in pharmaceutical research. molmir also plans to pursue commercial collaborations.
