IBB Ventures backs Kalz’s move toward industrial production
The Berlin company secured pre-seed investment through IBB’s B# programme.
Kalz is moving from research validation toward producing building materials at industrial scale. Its earlier development received €1.3 million in public support; the new investment adds backing for the next production step.
At the time of the announcement, the company planned to bring its Berlin plant into operation during 2026. Commissioning that facility would provide a practical setting to demonstrate the process beyond its research origins.
