I-PEC receives strategic equity investment through JP Holdings

The Kyoto building inspection company will collaborate with the JCIA group on staffing, expertise and digital operations.

The investment

I-PEC has received equity participation through JP Holdings, an investment platform backed by a fund managed by Creation Capital. The investor announced the transaction on November 2 without disclosing its size or ownership percentage.

Founded in 2004, I-PEC provides building confirmation, inspections, housing performance evaluations and energy-efficiency conformity assessments. Its business is centred on Kyoto, where local landscape and height restrictions add complexity to building reviews.

JP Holdings has also invested in the JCIA group, which includes Japan Construction Inspection Association. The partners plan to collaborate on recruitment and training, share review expertise, strengthen digital operations and expand their service areas.
