Hyphenate raises $45 million Series A for autonomous finance
Nexus Venture Partners leads funding to expand the finance software company formerly known as Maximor.
A larger round after the rebrand
Hyphenate announced a $45 million Series A on October 27, led by Nexus Venture Partners. B Capital joined the round alongside existing investors Foundation Capital, BoldCap and Gaia Ventures. The financing brings the company’s total funding to $54 million.
The announcement follows the company’s rebrand from Maximor less than a month earlier. It will use the capital to extend its AI agents across finance operations and into strategic finance.
Agents working across the finance function
Hyphenate automates tasks such as cash reconciliation, order processing, invoicing and general-ledger work across existing enterprise systems. Its approach connects the day-to-day workflows that finance teams otherwise move between spreadsheets, banking tools and accounting applications. The company says its customer base grew elevenfold in the preceding year.
