Hyperbolic discloses $725,000 pre-seed equity financing
The January 2023 filing documents early capital from ten investors, ahead of Hyperbolic’s later AI cloud financing.
Hyperbolic disclosed a fully sold $725,000 equity offering in a January 31, 2023 SEC filing. The company later described the financing as its November 2022 pre-seed round; the filing records the first sale on October 31, 2022.
The pre-seed backers named by Hyperbolic were Chapter One, Modular Capital, Samsung Next, Blizzard Fund by Avalanche, IMO Ventures, SNZ Holding and Ausvic Capital. The filing reports ten investors in total.
This early financing preceded Hyperbolic’s $7 million Seed round in July 2024. By that later announcement, the company was developing an open-access AI cloud, with model inference services and a marketplace for GPU capacity.
