Simplismart raises $14m Series B for AI inference software
Dallas Venture Capital led the all-primary round, with NVIDIA, Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax participating.
A closed round for inference software
Simplismart has raised $14 million in a Series B led by Dallas Venture Capital. NVIDIA, Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax also invested in the all-primary financing, which values the Bengaluru company at about $100 million after the round.
The company plans to develop its inference and orchestration software, expand its US business and grow its team. Co-founder and chief executive Amritanshu Jain told TechCrunch that the Series B is closed and will not be extended.
Making existing computing capacity go further
Founded in 2022 by Jain and Devansh Ghatak, Simplismart helps businesses configure and operate AI models across cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Its software adjusts deployments around requirements for response time, throughput and computing cost.
The company also works with cloud providers that use its software to offer inference services on their own GPU infrastructure. The new financing supports both further software development and expansion with customers and partners.
