Hilt announces $4.2 million seed round led by Array Ventures
The data security startup is emerging from stealth with $4.7 million in total funding.
Verdict Capital, Base10 Partners, Brickyard, Liquid 2 Ventures, Sequel, Sarah Smith Fund and Alumni Ventures also participated. The financing follows a $500,000 pre-seed investment led by Pear VC in 2025.
Hilt detects suspicious patterns in how sensitive data moves through a company’s systems, including activity carried out with valid credentials. Its software gives security teams a way to investigate transfers that appear legitimate individually but become risky when viewed together.
