Grubel raises €3m pre-seed to build AI tailored to legal matters
The German research lab is developing systems that curate matter-specific data, adapt models and evaluate their work for complex legal tasks.
Specialize the AI for each legal case
Grubel’s system is designed to adapt its model and workflow to the legal matter at hand. It curates task-relevant data and feedback, specializes the model at use time and evaluates performance against legal tasks, rather than applying one unchanged model to every case.
The €3 million pre-seed will fund research, product development and team expansion. Grubel says its deployments can run on a customer’s infrastructure and within its jurisdiction, keeping matter files and case-specific learning in the client’s custody as the research lab develops its product for law firms and legal departments.
