GenoRobotics receives CHF100,000 EPFL Innogrant
The field-DNA project, now continued as DecodeNAture, will complete and test its portable analysis technology.
GenoRobotics received a CHF100,000 EPFL Innogrant, announced on December 15, 2025. The award supports prototype completion and field pilots. The commercial venture emerging from the project now operates as DecodeNAture.
Its team develops portable DNA tools for species identification. The approach brings molecular workflows closer to agriculture, biodiversity and biosecurity decisions, reducing reliance on samples being transported to central laboratories.
Use of funds
Complete and field-validate the portable DNA analysis prototype.
