DecodeNAture brings DNA-based species identification into the field. Originating in the GenoRobotics project at EPFL, the team develops portable platforms that combine sample preparation, molecular analysis and interpretation for researchers and field professionals.
The venture is led by Nicolas Adam with expertise spanning molecular biology, engineering, conservation and plant systematics. Its tools are intended to support decisions in biodiversity monitoring, agriculture and inspections without relying entirely on central laboratory workflows.
