Elixi Health secures Mindset backing for adaptive PTSD exposure therapy

Elixi Health and Imperial College London are researching personalised virtual-reality exposure therapy with Innovate UK funding.

Elixi Health was named as a funded lead in Innovate UK's Mindset announcement on 11 September 2025. The company is working with Imperial College London on virtual-reality exposure therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder.

The research combines biofeedback and AI-assisted personalisation to adapt immersive environments to a person's responses. Elixi's platform includes physiological sensor integration, modular virtual scenes and a clinician dashboard.

UKRI announced more than £3.6 million across 17 business-led projects. Elixi Health's individual grant amount was not disclosed.
