CrossSense receives Mindset grant for smart-glasses mental health support

Innovate UK is backing CrossSense's work on emotional support and daily guidance through smart glasses.

CrossSense was named as a funded lead in Innovate UK's Mindset announcement on 11 September 2025. Its project develops a smart-glasses application that provides emotional support and practical information during everyday activities.

The company is building Wispy, an AI companion for people facing cognitive challenges. The Mindset research focuses on support for memory, focus and mental wellbeing through context-sensitive guidance.

UKRI announced more than £3.6 million across 17 business-led projects. CrossSense's individual grant allocation was not disclosed.
