Creem raises €5m seed to build a money platform for software businesses and AI agents
The funding will support Creem 2.0, which combines global payments, tax compliance and billing tools with interfaces that developers and AI agents can operate programmatically.
Merchant operations behind a software checkout
Creem acts as the merchant of record for software and digital-product sales. When developers connect a checkout or store, Creem becomes the legal seller to the customer and handles payment processing, indirect-tax calculations and collection, invoices, tax filings, refunds and disputes across supported markets.
The company raised a €5m seed round to build out Creem 2.0 as a money platform for software businesses and AI agents. Its tools also cover subscriptions, usage-based billing, payouts, affiliates and revenue splits, so a small software team can sell internationally without building its own payment and tax operation.
Creem’s API, command-line and MCP interfaces let developers and agents create products, configure checkouts and manage billing programmatically. The combination extends commerce workflows from a human-operated dashboard into software that can be configured and run through code; the company says total funding after this round is €7m.
