Corologic secures undisclosed seed funding for angiography AI
Kakao Ventures and Seoul National University Technology Holdings backed the Korean medical-imaging startup.
Reconstructing angiography between X-ray frames
Corologic’s Angio-FILM uses AI video-frame interpolation to generate intermediate images between frames of coronary angiography. The reconstructed sequence is intended to help clinicians follow blood-vessel movement and procedure progress from fewer X-ray images, potentially reducing radiation exposure for patients and medical staff.
The company plans multicenter clinical validation and regulatory submissions in South Korea and the United States, along with ISO 13485 quality certification. The seed amount was not disclosed.
