Circus Kitchens raises €11 million to expand meal-delivery hubs

BlackMars Capital and 2bX back the Hamburg company’s seed financing.

Circus Kitchens secured €11 million in seed financing in a round first reported on November 24, 2022. Company counsel subsequently confirmed the amount and stage.

BlackMars Capital and 2bX participated alongside WestTech Ventures and angel investors including Lea-Sophie Cramer, Verena Pausder and Gunnar Berning.

At the time, the Hamburg company prepared meals in its own micro-kitchen hubs and delivered orders placed through its app. The funding supported plans to expand the network into additional German cities by the end of 2023.
