CHD secures CHF150,000 through Venture Kick for pregnancy monitoring

Convertible programme financing will support development and validation of the company’s MONI2 system.

The Epalinges-based medtech plans to validate functional prototypes in the second quarter of 2027 and launch a consumer version in early 2028. A medical version would follow a separate regulatory development path; the company targets the end of 2029 for US clearance.

The CHF150,000 represents support across Venture Kick’s staged programme. Its rules integrate the initial grant into convertible financing as a startup progresses. CHD is also pursuing a broader seed raise, with other private and foundation investors at different stages of commitment.

Use of funds

Develop, test and validate MONI2 prototypes.

Prepare the consumer product for launch and the medical version for regulatory clearance.
