Tokyo Artisan Intelligence receives investment from Tokyo Keiki group
The strategic partnership builds on railway inspection work and targets AI integration across a broader range of industrial products.
Railway collaboration becomes a wider alliance
Tokyo Artisan Intelligence has worked with Tokyo Keiki’s rail business on automatic defect detection using images captured around railway tracks. The investment brings both Tokyo Keiki and its Rail Tech subsidiary into the partnership.
Combining AI with equipment expertise
The partners intend to combine TAI’s AI and semiconductor capabilities with Tokyo Keiki’s measurement, recognition and control technologies. Manufacturing know-how from the group will also support TAI’s work on physical-AI applications.
