Bulwark Dynamics raises $6.8M seed for autonomous landing craft
Caravel moves cargo from a ship to an unimproved shoreline, unloads and returns without a shore crew.
Ship-to-shore resupply without a port
Bulwark Dynamics’ Caravel is an unmanned surface vessel built to carry standard military cargo from ships to rough or shallow shorelines. It can navigate autonomously in degraded GPS or communications conditions, beach itself, offload supplies and retract back to the water without a crew at the landing site.
The company has demonstrated the full mission sequence with its Caravel 15 prototype and is preparing the system for operational deployment. Its approach is aimed at defense logistics where port access or crewed resupply vessels can create exposure.
