Bulwark Dynamics is building Caravel, an autonomous unmanned vessel that carries military supplies directly from ships to unimproved shorelines. It is designed to beach, unload standard cargo and retract without a crew or port infrastructure, including in electronically contested and GPS-denied conditions.
Caravel is an unmanned surface vessel built to move cargo from a ship to an unimproved shoreline, beach itself, offload and return to the water without a shore crew. It is designed for rough or shallow water, supports standard military cargo containers and uses sensor fusion and onboard navigation for operation when GPS or communications are degraded.
Bulwark sells into defense logistics needs, where port access and crewed vessels can expose resupply operations. The company reported a full mission-sequence demonstration with its Caravel 15 prototype, including unmanned transit, beaching, cargo offload and retraction; it is raising production capacity and testing toward operational deployment.
