Blackswan Space raises €2.5 million to commercialise orbital navigation payload
Its Mission Design Simulator and RPO Kit address different stages of autonomous spacecraft operations.
From simulations to spacecraft hardware
Blackswan’s Mission Design Simulator models autonomous mission execution for satellite teams. Its RPO Kit adds a vision-based navigation payload intended to let spacecraft identify and manoeuvre relative to another object. The company says its earlier round helped commercialise the simulator and bring in customers including Auria Space.
Capital for commercialisation and a first flight
The €2.5 million seed round was led by Iron Wolf Capital, with Lemonade Stand, NGL Ventures and angel investors Linas Sargautis and Tomas Žalandauskas participating. The company plans to commercialise the RPO Kit and expand in the United States; it scheduled an in-orbit test for Q4 2027.
