BGauss raises ₹52 crore Series A led by Darshan Patel
The electric scooter maker completes its first external financing since entering the market.
BGauss announced a ₹52 crore Series A on April 27, 2022, led by Darshan Patel, founder of Vini Cosmetics. It was the company’s first fundraise since entering the electric two-wheeler market in October 2020.
The financing preceded the planned May launch of the D15 scooter and a second model later that year. Founder Hemant Kabra also set out plans for in-house component development, alongside an increase in retail reach and manufacturing capacity.
