AX Holdings raises ¥370 million in late-seed second close
The parent company is funding Akiya’s expansion from employee housing into vacant-home conversions for care and welfare providers.
Repurposing vacant houses for care services
AX Holdings backs subsidiary Akiya, which acquires and renovates vacant homes before leasing them to business customers. Akiya began offering premises for care facilities and group homes in August 2026, adding a new use to its employee-housing business for foreign workers. The company says it has worked on more than 100 vacant-home redevelopment projects since its main rollout in January 2025.
