The parent company of Akiya, which converts vacant Japanese properties into employee housing and premises for care providers.
Akiya acquires vacant properties, renovates them for an identified use and leases them to business customers. Its employee-housing service supplies accommodation for foreign workers, including in areas where conventional rental options are difficult to secure.
The Tokyo business expanded into premises for care facilities and group homes in August 2026. Akiya handles property selection, acquisition and conversion; the tenant care organization operates the facility. The company reported work on more than 100 vacant-home redevelopment projects since its main rollout in January 2025.
