Auriga Cyber Ventures I reports nearly €20m in commitments

The cybersecurity fund increased its fundraising target to €60m in July 2022, with Tikehau Capital backing the vehicle.

Auriga Cyber Ventures I, then known as Cyber Impact Ventures, reported nearly €20 million in investor commitments on 18 July 2022. The fund raised its fundraising target from €30 million to €60 million.

Tikehau Capital had agreed to invest in the fund, which was launched in August 2021 by cybersecurity entrepreneurs together with manager Auriga Partners. The vehicle targeted early-stage cybersecurity businesses in France and across Europe.

At the time of the announcement, its five investments were Cryptr, AugmentedCISO, Patrowl, Emproof and Mithril Security. The strategy combined seed financing with commercial, strategic and organisational support from a network of cybersecurity specialists.
