Aoxi’s nucleic-acid drug project receives CNY12 million in public support
Xinghua disclosed the financing in May 2025 under a programme that supports development before potential conversion to equity.
Aoxi Biopharmaceutical’s nucleic-acid drug project received CNY12 million through a public grant-to-equity support mechanism, according to a May 29, 2025 report from Xinghua authorities.
From incubation to commercialization
Led by founder Liu Yin, the project was incubated in Shanghai and backed for commercialization in Xinghua, Jiangsu. JITRI’s annual report links the antibody–oligonucleotide conjugate project to Aoxi’s Taizhou company.
AOCs combine antibody targeting with nucleic-acid medicines. The project aims to improve delivery to disease-related cells, with rare diseases among its intended applications.
Support linked to future equity
The programme funds development before potential equity conversion when market financing arrives. The CNY12 million is project-specific support; the May report describes funding already injected into the project.
Use of funds
Develop and commercialize nucleic-acid therapeutics through Shanghai incubation and planned operations in Xinghua.
