Animorph receives £80,000 Discovery Award for CrossSense

The worker co-operative joins the Longitude Prize on Dementia development programme with its wearable cognitive-assistance project.

Animorph received an £80,000 Discovery Award as one of 24 teams announced on June 20, 2023 for the Longitude Prize on Dementia. The competition is funded by Alzheimer's Society and Innovate UK and delivered by Challenge Works.

The award supports CrossSense, Animorph's augmented-reality cognitive aid. The project combines sensory information to help people with dementia manage everyday tasks and retain greater independence.

Discovery Award recipients enter a development programme that brings innovators together with people living with dementia and their carers to shape how the technologies work.
