Andrenam raises $18m Series A for undersea sensing networks
Upfront Ventures leads funding for acoustic sensors, monitoring software and deployment teams.
Andrenam announced an $18 million Series A on July 23, 2026, led by Upfront Ventures with participation from Valor Equity Partners, Also Capital and First Round Capital. The round brings total funding to $30 million.
The company will expand deployment of its PEARL acoustic sensor network, develop its OBSIDIAN software and grow engineering and field operations teams. Its systems serve defense, port security, offshore infrastructure and commercial maritime monitoring.
Andrenam combines distributed sensors with automated signal processing to give operators a continuing picture of underwater activity. The model is designed to extend monitoring beyond locations where ships or specialist crews can remain on station.
