1club raises €2.2m to connect sports business software with activity discovery
The OfficeRnD founders’ new company pairs daily club operations with a network through which consumers can find and book activities.
1club has announced a €2.2 million seed investment from LAUNCHub Ventures and BrightCap Ventures. Its founders are bringing experience from coworking software company OfficeRnD to another industry of physical venues with recurring memberships and bookings.
The product starts with the operator’s workflow. A class reservation, membership payment and message to a customer belong to the same relationship, yet clubs often handle them in separate tools. Keeping those records together can help staff see whether a member’s booking, billing and communication are consistent without repeatedly moving information between systems.
That operational layer also supplies the schedules and availability behind 1club’s consumer sports network. The company says businesses in more than 40 countries use its platform. Connecting their inventories creates a second commercial opportunity: helping people discover and book activities while clubs retain a direct relationship with their members. The company’s broader agent-assisted booking vision builds on that network.
