Spectronix

Japan · Industrial tech · Hardware

Spectronix develops and manufactures short-wavelength, ultrashort-pulse lasers for precision processing of semiconductors, electronic components and other materials.

Laser sources for fine processing

Spectronix supplies picosecond laser oscillators across deep-ultraviolet, ultraviolet and green wavelengths. Equipment manufacturers use these sources in processes such as drilling, cutting, grooving, patterning and surface treatment.

Its 266-nanometre deep-ultraviolet technology addresses the need for smaller features in semiconductor and electronic-component production. The company is preparing its latest LD-GS-based source for larger-scale manufacturing.

Supporting integration into equipment

Alongside the laser source, Spectronix offers optical-system proposals and processing verification to help customers integrate it into manufacturing equipment. Its application work covers semiconductor materials, ceramics, metals, glass, resins and composites.

Founded in 2004, the company is based in Suita, Osaka. It combines laser development, production and sales within the business.
