Skeleton Technologies builds high-power energy storage systems that help data-center operators manage rapid changes in GPU electricity demand.

Keeping GPU loads within the power budget

AI data-center operators need to accommodate sharp changes in electricity demand as processors switch between workloads. Skeleton’s GrapheneGPU systems discharge during compute peaks and recharge during quieter periods, smoothing the load seen by the electricity supply. The intended benefit is more usable computing capacity within an existing grid connection.

The equipment combines supercapacitor storage, power electronics and controls. Skeleton offers a 48-volt rack shelf and an 800-volt capacitor bank, giving infrastructure teams different integration points for their electrical architecture.

From materials to manufactured systems

Founded in Estonia in 2009, Skeleton develops its own Curved Graphene storage material and manufactures cells and systems. Its European operations include module and system development in Tallinn, material production in Bitterfeld-Wolfen and the Leipzig supercapacitor factory.

The company also serves grid, mobility and industrial applications. Its company history records the start of deliveries to AI hyperscalers in 2025, alongside the opening of the Leipzig factory.
