RadioNano Therapeutics develops boron-containing nanoparticle medicines for boron neutron capture therapy.

Product

Its lead candidate, RN-501, uses boron-rich inorganic nanoparticles designed to concentrate the treatment material in cancer tissue. Neutron exposure triggers a localized nuclear reaction in the boron, providing the underlying mechanism for the therapy.

The Kyoto University spinout is advancing the formulation toward clinical testing. RN-501 remains investigational, with its safety and effectiveness yet to be established in people.
