JAOPS
Mission-control tools, simulators and operational support for spacecraft teams to test, monitor and run missions without assembling every ground system and operator role themselves.
Product
Carrying operations from testing into flight
JAOPS supplies the tools and people a spacecraft team needs for mission operations, from procedures and simulation through monitoring and anomaly handling. Its Yamcs Gateway extends the open source Yamcs mission-control system into hardware development and testing, connecting equipment that emits telemetry or receives commands. Engineers and operators can then reuse tools, procedures and displays across testing and flight operations.
The service is aimed at mission teams that would otherwise recruit experienced operators and develop ground software themselves. JAOPS says it already serves customers in Japan, Spain, France, the UK, South Korea and the US. Its October 2026 announcement describes its first own mission-control center and additional tools and simulators as development work, separate from the operational services and customer systems it already supplies.
