Zaperon raises ₹7 crore as identity policies extend to enterprise AI

The security startup brings applications, sensitive data and AI access into a shared policy framework for enterprise IT teams.

Zaperon has raised a ₹7 crore seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The Delhi-based company is working on a security problem that grows as enterprises introduce new cloud applications and AI tools: the same sensitive information can be reached through several different systems.

A common access policy can connect decisions that would otherwise sit in separate products. Zaperon combines identity, data security and AI governance in one console, checking who is requesting access and the surrounding context. For an IT team, that means permission to reach an application need not imply unrestricted permission to use the information inside it.

The company serves organizations across financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, technology and government, according to the funding report. Its planned enterprise AI security frameworks extend this approach to users, applications and agents interacting with sensitive data. That expansion puts policy enforcement at the point of use, where an enterprise can govern a workflow rather than only approve a login.
