Yellow Duck wins JPY1m grant for marine renewable energy

The bank’s award backs work to convert unused ocean energy into electricity.

Yellow Duck has won a JPY1 million excellence award in The Senshu Ikeda Bank, Ltd.’s 26th New Business Grant programme, announced on March 2.

The selected project uses marine energy to support carbon neutrality. Based in Kobe, Yellow Duck develops wave-power equipment and works with local partners on harbour trials that test generation and operating performance.
