WED raises funding to expand receipt-based marketing platform
The Japanese company is connecting its receipt app and purchase-verification technology to campaigns that help brands measure real purchases across retail channels.
Linking media campaigns to verified purchases
WED’s Performance Media Network lets brands set eligible products, rewards and campaign volumes, then distribute offers through participating apps. When a shopper buys a product and uploads a receipt, AI analysis verifies the purchase and issues the incentive, giving marketers a way to measure trial and repeat buying across channels.
The platform builds on receipt data collected through WED’s ONE app. The company says its database contains more than 1.9 billion receipts and PMN connects 21 media partners with over 40 million app users, a network it is expanding with the new capital.
