One driving system for two markets

Waabi combines a reasoning model with a neural simulator to develop the Waabi Driver. The same model is intended to operate freight trucks and passenger vehicles, so improvements learned in either application can carry into the other.

Closed financing and a separate Uber commitment

The company closed a $750 million Series C. Uber also committed future capital tied to robotaxi milestones; that commitment is separate from the closed round. The financing supports continued autonomous-trucking commercialization and the new passenger-service program.
