Voltaback raises €2.8M seed to expand connected fleet software
Serena leads funding as the French company moves beyond home charging reimbursement and scales across Europe.
Voltaback has raised €2.8 million in a seed round led by Serena, with angel backing including Electra co-founder Aurélien de Meaux and Maxime Brousse. The funding will support rollout in six European countries and expansion of the team.
The company initially focused on reimbursing employees for charging company vehicles at home, using connected vehicle and electricity data. It is now extending the platform into wider fleet management, including mileage, vehicle usage and reporting for combustion vehicles as well as EVs.
Voltaback says customers include Veolia and Equans. The investment supports a broader mobility platform built on data already generated by vehicles, reducing the need to deploy separate telematics equipment.
