Vitroscope secures approval for up to NOK16m for vitro.scale
The Research Council of Norway approved a grant framework for Vitroscope’s industrial-scale cell research platform on April 10, 2025.
The Research Council of Norway approved up to NOK16 million for Vitroscope’s vitro.scale project on April 10, 2025. The decision supports industrial-scale research using cell models under physiological conditions.
The approval set an upper funding framework, with the final amount and support share subject to assessment of a revised application. It forms part of the council’s Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector programme.
Vitroscope develops laboratory systems that maintain living tissue under controlled fluid flow. Its vitro.scale programme extends that approach toward higher-throughput experiments, helping researchers study biological responses across more samples.
