VitalFluid raises €17.2m Series A package for crop protection

The financing includes a €2.7m RVO innovation credit and follows commercial deployment with UK strawberry growers.

A mixed financing package

Invest-NL and Alder Tree Investments co-led the financing, with existing shareholders also participating. Invest-NL committed €4 million. The reported €17.2 million total includes the RVO credit alongside the equity financing.

Commercial contracts beyond the pilot stage

Graduate Ventures says VitalFluid has secured multi-year grower contracts covering more than 100 hectares of strawberry production in the UK. On those sites, it reports that the company’s treatment has largely displaced synthetic fungicides used for the main fungal-control application.

The Series A follows the €5 million seed round announced in April 2024, when the company was accelerating its initial market introduction.
