VitalFluid

Netherlands · Agritech

VitalFluid develops on-site plasma systems that help fruit and vegetable growers protect crops against fungal diseases.

Making crop protection at the farm

VitalFluid’s machines use electricity to activate air and water, producing plasma activated water at the grower’s site. The process creates reactive oxygen and nitrogen components with an antimicrobial effect, giving growers an alternative input for crop protection.

Working with growers’ equipment

The liquid can be applied through existing spraying equipment, allowing growers to incorporate it into their crop-management routine. The Eindhoven University of Technology spin-out has moved into commercial use with British strawberry growers; broader crop and market applications remain part of its expansion programme.
