Vingo has raised INR10 crore in a Seed financing led by India Quotient. Inuka Capital and Credgenics founder Rishabh Goel also participated, according to the August 5 announcement.
The company plans to develop its product, trust and payment infrastructure and support marketing. Its marketplace lets individuals buy, sell and bid on pre-owned products, including electronics, gaming equipment and other interest-based goods.
Founded by Parth Sarthi, Saransh Goyal and Krish Vashistha, Vingo combines community-based discovery with identity verification and escrow-backed payments. The financing supports the operating infrastructure for those transactions as it builds its user base.
