VideoGen raises $3.3m seed round for AI video creation
Y Combinator led the round as VideoGen expands its editable video platform for creators and businesses.
From a brief to an editable video
VideoGen turns a written brief or uploaded media into an editable video project with reusable assets. Its tools include AI voiceovers, one-click translation into more than 50 languages and developer access through a text-to-video API and MCP integration.
The company says more than five million people use VideoGen across over 190 countries, from individual creators and small businesses to teams at Fortune 500 companies. The seed financing will support operations and product development.
