Ume raises R$500m through receivables funds for consumer lending

The Brazilian credit-infrastructure provider secured financing through FIDCs structured and managed by Milenio Capital.

Funding the loans behind retail purchases

Participants include Itaú, Bradesco, Augme, Milenio, Verde and Credit Saison. The financing supports credit originated through Ume’s retail and marketplace partners; it is separate from corporate equity investment.

The transaction follows another R$150m FIDC financing completed earlier in the year. Ume reports operating across 10,000 points of sale and serving about four million consumers, linking its credit software with the capital needed to fund purchases.
