Tundr raises €11.6 million Series A for its employee-benefits platform
The Italian fintech combines a benefits card and employee app with an HR console, then plans to broaden distribution through financial and payroll partners.
Benefits move into employees’ daily spending
Tundr packages fringe benefits as a payment card and app: employers configure the program, while employees see their available credits and choose eligible spending across merchants and categories such as health, training, transport and family support. The setup gives staff a self-service way to use benefits while keeping program controls with HR.
The company reports serving more than 2,000 companies and 100,000 employees. That base puts the operational challenge beyond issuing a card: employers need workable administration, and employees need benefits they can discover and spend through familiar channels.
Partner distribution is the next step
Tundr’s announcement points to welfare providers, banks, insurers and payroll companies as routes to extend access. Those intermediaries can place the product inside services employers already use, while product development can support the integrations and benefit experiences needed to make each channel practical.
