Transsion joins Today AI’s Series A to explore personal assistants on smart devices

The smartphone maker will work with the personal AI company on assistants that use memory, context and connected services.

Transsion Holdings participated in Today AI’s Series A financing, according to an October 21, 2026 report by 36Kr Finance. The amount of Transsion’s investment and the size of the round were not disclosed.

Today AI develops a personal assistant that uses memory and context to help people organise information and complete tasks. With permission, it can connect to services such as email and calendars; users can review, change or delete what the assistant remembers.

The companies plan to explore combining Today’s assistant with phones and other smart devices. Today began an overseas public beta in September and launched its domestic version on September 24.
