Tenka raises $2m pre-seed to build an asset-backed finance marketplace
The planned platform will connect loan origination, investor placement and secondary trading around standardised facility data.
A shared market layer for private credit
Tenka is building infrastructure to make asset-backed loans easier for professional investors to assess and trade. Originators will be able to present facilities backed by receivables, equipment and other assets in a consistent format, with collateral, terms, risk, return and duration organised for investor review.
The $2m pre-seed round, led by Maven 11 with Gami Capital and angel investors participating, will fund the platform’s development. Tenka’s model pairs structured book-building at origination with a secondary market: after a facility is issued, ownership records, reporting, valuation and settlement are intended to support investors transferring exposures before the underlying loans mature.
That workflow is designed to give originators access to a broader capital base while giving allocators clearer information about each facility and a path to liquidity. The platform is still in build-out, with Tenka listing a Q4 2026 launch target.
