Talky Labs raises €1.5 million to automate accounting with company-specific AI
The Madrid startup’s pre-seed round will support hiring and development of software that learns how finance teams handle accounting decisions.
Talky Labs has disclosed a €1.5 million pre-seed round backed by HelloWorld, Silence VC and Motive Force, alongside Sebastian Gunningham, Paul Goldbaum, Javier Morenés and other founders and operators. The financing closed in September 2026 and was publicly reported on October 29.
The Madrid company builds AI software that learns accounting criteria from historical records and finance teams. It processes invoices, suggests entries and handles reconciliation, consulting staff when an unfamiliar case requires judgement. Talky says it has processed more than 1.8 million documents covering over €2 billion in client spending.
The funding will support recruitment, product development and technical infrastructure as Talky expands work with existing customers and pursues international growth. Its target customers include large finance teams, consultancies and business process outsourcing providers.
