Stride raises £4.6 million seed for preventative health

The funding supports new tests and a US membership launch.

Stride announced its first external funding round, a £4.6 million seed, on October 14. Backers include Arāya Ventures, Better Ventures, Morgan Stanley Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures and Innovate UK, alongside angels.

The company will widen its product range, develop a biological age test drawing on multiple sources of health data, and launch StrideOne memberships in the US.

Founded by Andrew Steele, Stride brings DNA, blood and gut testing together with professional guidance. Its expansion builds on a membership model intended to help customers track health indicators over time.
